We were engaged to design a few model floor plans for a new subdivision in Bicheno on the east coast of Tasmania. The gently sloping land between bushland and water views was well shielded from the winds so open outdoor living could work well.
We considered how prefabrication could reduce the building cost and site impacts, and developed house plans that could easily divide in to 2 or 3 accommodation units for the coastal town that swells with visitors each weekend and summer.
