A container home, a courtyard home, a sculptural home, and a pole framed home, were all designed for the same brief of 50m2 for a travelling artist who needed wall space and storage for when they sublet the home and travel.
Each house responds to the sun and slope and eastern views, while minimising excess windows in the cold location on Kunanyi.
The resulting drawings are a useful demonstration of how many different options can be found for the same design problem.
