Since arriving in Hobart in 2004, Scott has been an active contributor to the Hobart architecture community. Some of the activities organised for the local Tasmanian AIA (Australian Institute of Architects) include co-ordination of public events, exhibitions, and house tours.

. jury member for BDAA (Building Designers Association of Australia) National Awards 2010-2011
